What Can I Expect During My First Few Visits At The Tobin Center?

After completing a full history questionnaire you will consult with Dr. Tobin. This consultation is your opportunity to express your health concerns and expectations, and to ask any questions you may have pertaining to the matter. It is also the time for Dr. Tobin to express her role in your health care and discuss your health prognosis. A physical exam will be performed which includes postural evaluation, bilateral weight scale reading, orthopedic and neurologic testing, and a specific Chiropractic spinal evaluation. In some cases x-rays may be necessary to determine an exact diagnosis.

On your second visit, after she has carefully evaluated all of the findings, Dr. Tobin will go over the results of the exam and x-rays with you. If Dr. Tobin confirms that you have Subluxation (nerve interference) she will want to begin care by adjusting you right away. Adjustments are safe and shouldn't be painful, although you may feel some discomfort as your body is healing.

The very next day, Dr. Tobin will need to check you to see how you've responded to your first adjustment. At this time she will discuss her best recommendation for correction and schedule a series of visits for care.
